Responsibilities
Tasks
• Prepare and cook complete South-Indian/North-Indian snacks or individual dishes and sweets.
• Prepare and cook special snacks or sweet dishes as directed by chef depending upon the order received and customer requirements.
• Responsible for ensuring timely supplies of raw-material as per the order requirement, estimate the overall order size, and thus thereby ensuring costs, and monitoring and managing supplies.
• Responsible for managing kitchen helpers as per menu requirement.
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
• Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
• Order supplies and equipment.
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• Clean kitchen and work areas.
• Manage kitchen operations.
• Prepare food order summaries for chef.
