Job Description

Golden Chicken Meat Wholesale Ltd. is growing rapidly and is searching for qualified candidate for the position of meat cutter. To join our growing team, please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
operate equipment in a safe and focused manner while tracking date and rotation of products and completing any necessary reports
grind meats and slice cooked meats using powered grinders and slicing machines
cut, weigh, package, label and price meat, meat products for sale
receive, inspect and store products to ensure quality, following proper cleaning and sanitation procedures
ensure the maintenance of equipment, displays and work area
receive and store merchandise in accordance with the company’s established standards
meet productivity and accuracy standards
comply with government health and safety standards and occupational health and safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Completion of secondary school is required
On-the-job training is available
Previous equipment and machinery working experience with power grinder or slicing machine is preferred
Food Handler Certification or equivalent food safety training certification is preferred
Ability to communicate in English effectively
Ability to work accurately and efficiently
